A small introduction
Dr. Jeffrey Mathews grew up in Central Missouri on a quarter horse ranch. He graduated from the University of Missouri (where he met his wife Shari) in 1983. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1989. Dr. Mathews practiced in St. Peters Missouri for 16 years before moving to Colorado Springs. While practicing in Missouri he also taught undergraduate and post graduate courses at Logan, in physical diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting, and soft tissue treatment. Dr. Mathews has worked with athletes from the U.S. Olympic Team, WWE, NFL, MLB, NHL, as well as some of the top runners from around the world. He coached high school track for 13 years. He has been written about in Runner’s World and Colorado Springs Style magazines.
In 2017 Dr. Mathews returned to his animal roots by becoming an AVCA Animal Chiropractor. Dr. Mathews has treated horses, goats, dogs, cats, cows, and many other types of animals. In 2022 Dr. Mathews expanded his practice and moved to North Central Arkansas with a focus on providing quality animal chiropractic care.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Dr. Mathews has been married to his best friend Shari for 38 years. She too has a passion for health and wellness and works as the lead nurse at the School for the Deaf and Blind. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Dr. Mathews and Shari enjoy their outdoor lifestyle which includes working on the ranch, riding horses, and hiking with their dogs.
